I tell my clients to use glamour glove gel, which is very hydrating and helps eliminate age spots, and wear our glamour gloves, which are lined in essential oils. Finish off with our high intensity hand cream, which is very hydrating and has the same fresh, uplifting lemon and sage signature scent. |

How can I strengthen and treat weak, brittle nails?
The first step to strengthening weak nails is commitment. Not only do you have to promise to give up chewing, chipping, picking, tapping, and ripping, you have to commit yourself fully to a several-sided plan of attack that includes regular manicures, at-home filing, buffing, massaging, cuticle creaming, and clear-coating. If I may add-- you can do it. Start by buying a Diamancel #1 The Softie. It helps to file rough edges and snags off of weak nails, without taking away too much length. It's a softly textured flexible file that is less aggressive than the regular roughers. Second, leave a tube of Bliss Manicure's Best Friend on your bedside table, and each night before falling asleep, rub it into your cuticles to stimulate circulation to the nail bed. Sign yourself up for a regular-- meaning once a week-- manicure (your nails will look so fab you'll want to keep it up for at least the next seven days). |
