Currently, although our massage, body treatment and facial staff has a nice balance of male/female therapists, our nail tech department consists only of women. We also sometimes run into trouble when a technician who has been specifically requested based on his or her gender: 1) Calls in sick. 2) Changes work schedules. 3) Moves to Hawaii. While we do everything we can to avoid a gender-offending situation (we generally call every pre-scheduled client to inform them of a change), the odd slip-up gets through our fingertips. But request away, most often, you'll get what you prefer.
